Calvin Risk is a Swiss-based start-up helping companies create and manage trustworthy AI that is aligned with humanity. Founded in 2022 as an ETH Zurich spin-off, we build advanced software for assessing risks associated with AI in commercial use. "Calvin" helps enterprises in the financial services sector manage their AI portfolios, ensuring models remain safe, compliant with the highest ethical standards, and ready for impending regulations.

This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing start-up at an exciting stage as an Business Operations Intern. This is a high-impact role where you will work directly with leadership to scale our operations and drive a critical company milestone: our ISO 27001 certification. Your Mission

You will serve as a multiplier for our leadership team, focusing on two critical pillars:

• The CEO's Right Hand: You will work directly with the CEO to amplify their impact. By taking ownership of high-stakes presentations, streamlining daily workflows, and solving operational roadblocks, you ensure leadership can focus on top-level strategy.
• Drive Compliance Operations: You will be the operational engine behind our ISO 27001 certification—a massive growth lever for the company. You will help map out controls, draft and format policies, and act as the central project manager to get us across the finish line.
• Cross-Functional Catalyst: You will keep the team aligned and accountable. Whether it's coordinating with engineers or tracking down documentation, you are the person who ensures nothing slips through the cracks and deadlines are met.

Your Story

‍

• Background: You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, or a related field.
• Smart Generalist: You don't need a specific tech stack or compliance background (we can teach you our tools). You just need to be tech-curious, logically sharp, and a quick learner.
• High Ownership: You have a strict "get-it-done" mentality. You take pride in executing the details flawlessly, whether you are drafting a critical security policy or polishing a pitch deck.
• Excellent Communicator: You can take rough notes and turn them into clean, professional materials. You speak and write English at an excellent level (German is a plus).
• Integrity: You will work closely with the CEO and handle sensitive security data, making discretion and reliability second nature to you.
